2- Financial support for CLC missionaries
Do you want to support someone involved in a UK Christian ministry that has a real impact to the public on our high streets? CLC Bookshops are a visible access point to learning about Jesus. Our teams spend many hours each week sharing the Good News and assisting the public in their search for a closer relationship with God. In faith, many of our full-time UK staff are non-paid missionaries and they are trusting in God to supply their needs. Part of their support is received through CLC's missionary support fund, where the giving is shared amongst the team. 3- Gifts for the Shop-in-a-Box Project in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Interested in supporting an international Christian bookshop? With CLC's Shop-in-a-box project that's exactly what you can do! This project takes a shipping container and converts it into a bookshop with very low overheads so that it is very likely to be self-sustaining. Currently we are establishing a container bookshop in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania's capital. Designated gifts are used entirely as indicated, whether for a person, ministry, project or ministry cost. You can be as specific as you like as to how you wish your gift to be used.
Non-designated gifts go into a support fund which is distributed equitably each month among qualifying non-salaried CLCers. This allowance has a limit so that any excess in the fund can be carried forward.
Nothing is deducted from any gift for administrative reasons.
