Opportunities for Service with CLC

Go to Current Vacancies for information about some of the opportunites for service with CLC.

CLC distributes Christian products across the UK and beyond through bookstalls at events, an online bookshop, customes who buy from our warehouse (CLC Wholesale) and 16 high street resource centres (CLC Bookshops).

We are keen to hear from you if you are excited about the possibilities as to how you can help us fulfil our mission and thereby help advance the Christian faith.

To grow the UK ministry and fulfil our Mission, we are particularly seeking people who share the vision and mission of CLC and who are able to bring strong management and leadership capability.  This could involve coordinating a team of volunteers and/or paid staff in wholesale distribution or in our retail stores throughout the country.  If you have relevant business operations training and/or experience and believe you should now apply those skills into a ministry context please contact us to discuss your interest.

Minimum requirements: committed evangelical Christian, over 18, responsible attitude and able to take on some responsibility, an eye for detail, computer literate and good with people if dealing with the public, willing to learn new skills, retail experience an advantage, pleasant phone manner, good memory.

We trust God to supply all of our financial needs, whether through the sales income to cover the daily running costs of the ministry, or through gifts for the personal financial needs of our non-employed staff.

Whatever your role, you will need to be in full agreement with our Statement of Faith and our Ethos Statement, and also to be aware of our Mission, Vision & Values.

How do people serve with CLC?

We believe that the people who work with us will receive their call or direction from God, a sense that God would want them to serve Him through CLC.

Psalm 32:23 says: "The steps of the godly are directed by the Lord. He delights in every detail of their lives." Psalm 32:8 says: "The Lord says, 'I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.'"

We encourage people to seek the Lord for His answer as to their commitment when thinking of CLC.

What is your passion and where do your skills and gifts lie? Are they available to the Lord through CLC if there's a place they can be put to good use?

What sort of people serve with CLC?
